Finding a Therapist
Finding a therapist can feel difficult and overwhelming, especially if you're not sure where to begin. A helpful first step is to identify your personal goals—what areas of your life you’d like to improve or explore. Therapists can support you in many ways, including enhancing your overall well-being, improving daily functioning, and addressing symptoms that may be interfering with your ability to thrive. There are many reasons people seek therapy, and starting a therapeutic relationship is a valuable step toward greater self-understanding and emotional health.
When choosing a therapist goodness of fit is important. A free consultation is so helpful to connect with the therapist and see if it feels like a good vibe for you. You also want to get a sense of how they work with their clients and if the therapist easily creates a space where you feel "felt". It's ok to try different therapists to find your right fit. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Client-Centered Therapy

Gestalt relational therapy
Therapy centers on present-moment awareness and healing through authentic therapist–client connection.
Cognitive behavioral Therapy (CBT)
A structured, goal-oriented form of therapy that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Mindfulness
Noticing your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surroundings as they are—rather than getting caught up in the past or future—so you can respond more calmly and clearly to life’s experiences.
